Omega X transformed into athletes for a fun new fun dance video!
On September 9, Omega X unveiled a “sports version” choreography video for “WHAT’S GOIN’ ON,” the title track of their new, first single album of the same name. The special video was released in celebration of reaching 3 million views on their “WHAT’S GOIN’ ON” music video on the group’s official YouTube channel.
In the clip, Omega X (Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk and Yechan) traded in their performance outfits for sportswear as they adopted a sports club concept, repping sports such as soccer, baseball, basketball, rugby, and taekwondo. The video starts off with the members casually relaxing in a cafe after practice before taking it over and showcasing their flawless choreography and synchronization.
Still fresh from their debut promotions, Omega X made a speedy comeback on September 6 with the release of their first single album, WHAT’S GOIN ON. The album arrives just over two months after the 11-member group made their energetic debut with their first mini-album, VAMOS.
Omega X’s Jaehan expressed his excitement to promote new music shortly after their last release, “We thought long and hard to show a different side of us through this album than in the previous album. It’s going to be a new side of us, which makes me anxious but much more excited.”
WHAT’S GOIN’ ON exhibits the group’s aspirations and passion for the global stage. The new album consists of two heart-pumping tracks, the title song of the same name and “Baila Con OX,” which means “Dance with OX” in Spanish. Omega X’s Hangyeom commented, “This single album ‘WHAT’S GOIN’ ON’ shows Omega X’s unique charisma, hip vibe and captivating sounds. The title track ‘WHAT’S GOIN’ ON’ is full of explosive energy and our own personality along with great guitar sounds.”
